AT&T 28 Days Celebrates Fifth Year with Concert and Speaker Series Featuring New Host Rickey Smiley
Today, AT&T announced the return of 28 Days, a campaign and speaker series that aims to motivate consumers to take a forward look at Black History Month as they create their own history.
28 Days kicks off in Washington, D.C. on February 7 at the Lincoln Theatre, featuring comedian and radio personalityRickey Smiley as host. Hip-hop commentator, activist and authorKevin Powell and R&B sensation andWhite House favorite Elle Varner will speak and perform at the event. Tickets, availableonline, are free and open to the general public.
New this year, AT&T has added a 28 Days to Inspire photo sharing contest at28daystoinspire.com that allows consumers to submit and share photos of their inspirational moments for a chance to win a grand prize of $1,000 to purchase tickets to any Live Nation concert in the U.S. taking place in 2013, and $1,000 cash. On the website, consumers will be able to submit their photos throughFacebook, Twitter and Instagram from now through the end of February.
